[ 02 / 06 ] How listing works

## From source to revenue, in five steps. Every step on the record.

1. **Connect a source** — A warehouse, cloud storage or files over SFTP, read in place in your environment.
2. **Build an audience** — Define the segment from your mapped attributes, and see its size as you build.
3. **Set visibility and licence** — Choose who can license it, and the price, permitted use cases and channels. EleeN reviews it before it goes live.
4. **Approve buyers** — Each request shows the buyer, its use cases and its channels. Nothing goes out without your approval.
5. **Get paid** — Billing follows each buyer's usage, and every activation is logged for you.

- Audience data you have the right to license, with a recorded consent basis
- A source EleeN can connect to

### Does our data leave our environment?

No. Nothing is copied out to EleeN or to the buyer. When a buyer activates a segment, its members reach the buyer's ad platform as hashed identifiers, with consent checked.

### How do we get paid?

Billing follows each buyer's usage of a segment, at the price you set.

### Can buyers export or resell our segments?

No. Licences are activation-only: segments can't be exported, edited or relisted.

### Can we list an audience built with a partner?

Yes, with your partner's consent. Buyers see that the segment was built in a collaboration, and revenue is split between you.

### Do we choose who buys?

Yes. Make a segment open to anyone, approve each request, or share it only with named organisations.
